Sheldon received his Ph.D. in reproductive biology from the University of Guelph and his B.Sc. in physiology from the University of Toronto. Sheldon has over 13 years of experience in legal, intellectual property, technology transfer, business development, operations, and early stage drug development within the specialty pharmaceutical and university sectors.
Prior to joining MaRS Innovation, Sheldon held the positions of Director, Business Development and Director, Corporate Operations at Cytochroma Inc., a clinical stage specialty pharmaceutical company. He also worked as a Technology Transfer Manager at the University of Guelph.
Sheldon is responsible for conducting due diligence on invention disclosures in the life sciences field and manages the development and commercialization of a number of related technologies.
